The Greenbelt is a welcoming site at the end of a busy day. It is a quiet place to walk or sit and reflect. Children will want to stop by the swing and feel the wind in their hair. While walking through the trees you can see five ponds with lighted fountains and waterfalls. As you meander through the Greenbelt you may observe turtles sunning on the banks of the ponds or squirrels playing in the trees. Mallard and Whistler ducks, along with Canadian geese visit the ponds. White and grey cranes can be observed feeding at the water’s edge. Occasionally, a Red-Tailed hawk may be seen flying overhead.
The Greenbelt is adjacent to homes in the Estates and shared with the “The Homestead”/”The Lakes” communities. A portion of the Homeowners dues from the Estates goes to the preservation, and maintenance of the Greenbelt. The responsibilities for the Greenbelt are shared with the “The Homestead” and “The Lakes” communities.
